When their city is rocked by a series of brutal occult murders, a detective and his young partner are forced to put aside their differences and follow the trail of evidence to a formerly abandoned asylum, where the new owner is conducting his own brand of “medical research” on the unwilling inmates. One such inmate, the sexy but deadly Annie Dyer, may hold the key to the murders, and to the doorway to Hell itself. Hellriser was shot by Steve Lawson in Spring 2017 in the Midlands and had a UK release October the same year with 88 Films (October 9th via online stores such as Amazon and then an October 16th street date with Asda and HMV stores). Nathan Head plays pathologist Colin Green, the film was was nominated for "Best Thriller" at the 2018 National Film Awards.
