Nathan Head stars as Officer Heinrich Berger in The Toymaker, the third Robert the Doll film, set in 1940s Nazi Germany. Filmed in Cardiff in Autumn 2016, it was released in the UK by 4Digital on August 21st 2017, and in North America through Sony Pictures Home Entertainment as a Walmart exclusive from Sept 5th to Oct 31st under the title Robert and the Toymaker. The film charted on Tesco (#20), HMV (#3 → #6), and Morrisons (#25, later Best Sellers). Footage aired on Lisa Cannon’s Box Office on TV3e, broadcast by Virgin Media in Ireland on September 28th, and it became available via Sky Store/Sky Cinema. International releases included Brazil on November 15th 2017 with Frighten Entertainment and Germany on November 23rd 2018 with DareDo. A US limited-edition box set of the first three films followed June 5th 2018. The franchise now spans five films, with Nathan’s character’s death reused in The Revenge of Robert, released in the UK on March 19th 2018 & Germany on February 22nd 2019. All five Robert the Doll films appeared on Netflix UK in April 2022.
