About
Moving into adulthood, Nathan continued performing through live entertainment shows. Between 2000 and 2001 he performed (badly) as a solo singer at function events and hall venues across Halton and Warrington, performing popular songs from the era including material such as Flying Without Wings and Blue (Da Ba Dee). From 2003 to 2008 Nathan became a regular performer at The Canterbury Arms in Greater Manchester, appearing in cabaret shows as well as DJing for themed events. His performances included comedy dance numbers such as The Court of King Caractacus, Do-Re-Mi, Y.M.C.A., and the popular Around the Old Camp Fire, often incorporating simple comedy choreography and hand-jive routines. He even appeared as part of an ABBA tribute act for the 2005 Eurovision party, portraying Björn. In 2019 Nathan took part in a private The Greatest Showman-themed event in Kingsley, Cheshire. Rather than performing on stage, he was hired as a character entertainer, appearing as a circus character, interacting with guests and serving drinks while remaining in character throughout the event.
