About
The Terror of the Killer Carnivorous Coat is a 2011 television film
starring Nathan Head and David Curtis, a spoof and homage to 1970s Hammer
horror, it became a cult favourite on Canada’s Black Flag TV. The film
introduced Gabriel Cushing (David Curtis), now the centerpiece of a transmedia
franchise, and follows Luke Railey (Nathan Head), a young man whose life
changes after acquiring a coat possessed by the demon Ka. Filmed in Portishead
in 2009, it premiered on Canadian TV on June 22, 2012, with a special edition
DVD released October 29, 2016. The franchise expanded to include:
