In the second series of  Jimmy McGovern's television drama The Street, Nathan played Sarah’s boyfriend, acting opposite a young Matt Smith (years before Smith became a household name as the Eleventh Doctor in Doctor Who). The series was directed by Terry McDonough and was produced by ITV Productions for the BBC.
